It all began.....

Holly’s Pride - Hotel for Pets in Burlington began in 1991. Paul and Gwen Jess had the idea that Pet Owners were looking for a more comfortable, upscale concept for boarding their pets when they had to travel out of town. After twelve years of “growing” it was apparent that there was a need to expand to a second location in the communities of Ancaster, Hamilton, Brantford and surrounding areas.

Jennifer, our General Manager of Ancaster - was at the time a six-year employee of Holly’s in Burlington and encouraged us to work together to build a second location. In 2003 Jennifer, Stephanie, Paul and Gwen, began Holly’s Pride of Ancaster. Stephanie also an employee of Holly’s in Burlington since 2000, was very interested in joining the venture with Jennifer to establish another popular facility. Jennifer and Stephanie, along with many other experienced Staff are truly dedicated to making your pet’s stay a comfortable, happy, healthy vacation. All of Holly’s Staff are pet owners too and that’s why they strive very hard to make sure your “best friend’s” visit is a positive, fun experience.
