Requirements For Your Pet
ArrivalDeparture

Arrival:

Dog Vaccination Records required: DHPP, Rabies & Bordetella.
Cat Vaccination Records required: FVRCP & Rabies.

Proof of Current Vaccinations in the form of a veterinary signed certificate or a receipt from your Veterinarian with the vaccines given and expiration date. You may fax your records to 905-336-3687 or e-mail them to us

Food:
Holly’s Pride provides a selection of Performatrin products from Pet Valu or you may bring your pet’s own food from home. We feed our pets with a standard measuring cup or you may bring your own scoop. All our pets are fed up to three times a day. We also have a refrigerator, microwave and freezer for any special dietary requirements.

Medications:
Holly’s Pride will administer any medication with the exception of insulin or allergy injections at no extra charge.

Past Health Problems or Behavioral Problems:
It is important for us to be aware of any past health issues, or behavioral problems. Our Staff need to know if your dog has experienced any of the following: bloating, seizures, heart murmurs, eye or ear infections, constipation, diarrhea, tumors, urinary tract infections, arthritis, allergies, etc. Please let our staff be aware of any aggressive tendencies towards people, food, dogs.etc.

Emergency Contact Numbers:
We will require an emergency contact number regarding the care of your pet, as well as your Vets name and number. Your emergency contact will be responsible for any decisions that need to be made regarding your pet’s health.

Bedding & Bowls:
Both bedding and bowls are provided by Holly’s fresh daily and we do not accept bedding and bowls from home.

Leashes and Toys:
Our Staff do all of our walks on a leash and choke chain (we do not correct the dogs, it’s just the safest way to make sure your pet does not slip their collar). If you use a Gentle Leader or harness, please leave it with us for your pet. You may bring toys from home, however, we do not recommend small toys that may roll out under the gate and become lost. We are not responsible for lost leashes, toys, etc.

**Please bring your pet into the office on a leash or in a carrier for the safety of your pet and other peoples pets.

Departure: On The Day Your Pet Goes Home

* You need to bring your leash, we usually send them back home with you at the time of arrival.

*The bill must be paid in full at the time of departure. For your convenience, Holly’s Pride accepts: Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Sorry we do not accept cheques. You may pay ahead of time if your friend is picking up your pet for you, but we do not release a pet without payment.. (If there are any persons you do not wish us to release your pet to, please make sure we are aware of this.)

*If your departure date is changing, please notify us 24 hours in advance. If you plan to pick your pet up earlier than the scheduled departure, we need to be phoned so we may bath your pet if needed and we can make arrangements to fill your pre arranged spot with another customer.

*Please do not give your pet a lot of water or food when they arrive home. It is natural for your pet to be excitable and appear thirsty. Your dog needs to settle at home for while before you give him water and food. Holly’s provides fresh water all day long. If you give your dog a lot of water and food, you are running the risk of diarrhea and vomiting, due to nerves and excitement.

*You may find your cat sheds a great deal when it comes to car rides and changes in surroundings. A pet carrier is a good way of transporting your cat around.

*If you experience any problems or have any questions concerning your pet's stay with us please call and talk to us at 905-336-8494.
